Billie Eilish Announces Debut Album, Shares New Song And Video “bury a friend”

“bury a friend” with Billie this morning.

Today Billie Eilish announced her debut album, titled WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, will be released via Darkroom/Interscope Records on March 29th. With the album announcement comes the release of a new song and matching video, “bury a friend.” The album will feature the previously released “you should see me in a crown” and “when the party’s over” and will consist of fourteen tracks. “bury a friend”, technically the third single from the upcoming debut, sticks with the dark themes Eilish has surround herself with in and out of her music and while the production feels like a nuanced club beat her soul-crushing vocals bring the song back to the realm of easy listening. The video is just as jarring as it shows Billie almost floating down abandoned hallways in what seems to be an old mansion or possibly a mental hospital as hands aggressively reach into frame and prod at her face.
