Flying Lotus Shares New Song “More” With Anderson .Paak

Anderson .Paak and Flying Lotus make quite the pair.

Today we got the third single from Flying Lotus‘ upcoming album Flamagra, “More”, featuring Anderson .Paak. This follows last month’s “Takashi” and “Spontaneous”, which featured Little Dragon, and marked the first new music from FlyLo in nearly five years.

The full album isn’t out until May 24th but I did actually get an advanced listen of Flamagra and if you’re a FlyLo fan you will not be disappointed. Beyond Little Dragon and Anderson .Paak, the album features Tierra Whack, and George Clinton, Toro Y Moi, Thundercat, Shabazz Palaces, and David Lynch (who directed the “Fire Is Coming” video that FlyLo just shared), the album marks an amazing comeback for Flying Lotus.

In a statement about the album Flying Lotus said “This album has been a refuge for pain and trying to make the most out of that pain. Music can heal and in the wake of that tragedy it reminded me what I’m here to do. As we get older, we start to figure out what our purpose is and embrace it and I want to do good things with my work. I want it to be able to help people through tough times and inspire them to be creative.”

You can find “More” from Flying Lotus and featuring Anderson .Paak on our Tasty! Jams playlists for May.
