BROCKHAMPTON Drop New Song And Video “J’OUVERT”, Releasing “Iridescence” Album Tonight

BROCKHAMPTON have released a new video and song ahead of tonight’s album release.

“J’OUVERT” is a fight song with a video filmed entirely in thermal — literally, showing the heat. The four minute song features verses from BROCKHAMPTON members Matt Champion, JOBA, Merlyn Wood, and bearface. “J’OUVERT” sounds even more insane than BROCKHAMPTON’s other recent work, like “1997 DIANA” and “1998 TRUMAN”, and truly sounds like they’re angry. I mean, how else do you take “Fuck what you think / And fuck what you heard / I feel betrayed”? The song is clearly referencing the Ameer Vann scandal at times but more so seems to be targeted at the, for lack of a better word, “haters.” Either way, it’s just a taste of what we’re in for later tonight when the start of their next trilogy. Iridescence, is released. Prepare yourself by catching up on the SATURATION trilogy or listening to the singles from the upcoming album.
