Cautious Clay Lets Loose On "Erase"

Cautious Clay Lets Loose On “Erase”

Cautious Clay has struck again.

After sharing his long-awaited John Mayer collaboration last month Cautious Clay is back again with another gorgeous track. “Erase” has a tranquil feel to it, blending aspects of rock, hip-hop and R&B, Clay manages to elevate himself further. Clay told NME in a statement that the song is “about living your truth a little bit and not necessarily letting social media control every part of your life.” He continued by calling social media “a beautiful thing that we can all engage with and share, but it’s important that people really invest the time they have with the people they’re around.” He also shared a music video for the song that features some gags and quite a few emojis. Watch the video below and you can find “Erase” from Cautious Clay on our Tasty! Jams playlists.

Previously, Cautious Clay has shared three EP’s, Blood Type, RESONANCEand Table of Contextfeaturing Tasty! Jams like “Juliet + Ceaser”, “French Riviera,” “REASONS” and “Honest Enough.

Cautious Clay Shares Soulful New "Table of Context EP"

Cautious Clay Shares Soulful New “Table of Context EP”

Cautious Clay continues his streak of hits with this new chapter.

The six-song and 27-minute EP is the perfect thing to kick off this Wednesday morning. Featuring the previously released “REASONS” and “HONEST ENOUGH” and four new songs, Table of Context is Cautious Clay‘s most concise and thought-provoking project to date. The echoing drums that he frequently embraces in many different songs provide an ominous backdrop to his powerful vocals that when contrasted create a very dreamy and soulful effect that you don’t want to get rid of. But comparing the feeling created by the closing track, “SOMETHING FOR NOTHING”, with the jarring opening to “REASONS” is almost impossible to do without those echoey drums that tie each track together.

Cautious Clay just recently announced a string of festival performances including Lollapalooza and Boston Calling and confirmed his up-and-coming status at SXSW. Last year he made it onto our Best Albums of 2018 list with his RESONANCE EP. You can find “SIDEWINDER”, “REASONS” and “HONEST ENOUGH” on our Tasty! Jams playlists.

Cautious Clay Drops Crazy New Song “Honest Enough” On His Birthday

Cautious Clay Drops Crazy New Song “Honest Enough” On His Birthday

Cautious Clay comes in big on this one.

After releasing “REASONS” in December Cautious Clay is back in the new year and I couldn’t be happier — I mean, I did name his album Blood Type as one of my Top 40 Albums of 2018. “Honest Enough,” which was released on Clay’s birthday, January 30th, capitalizes on his increase in popularity with the massive radio success that is “Cold War” and propels him into 2019. “Honest Enough” sticks to the formula Clay’s built so perfectly for himself, providing us with yet another melodic and emotional track that is still, by many definitions, a banger. You can find “Honest Enough” from Cautious Clay on our Tasty! Jams playlists for January.

Cautious Clay Drops Releases New Song "REASONS"

Cautious Clay Releases New Song “REASONS”

Cautious Clay’s newest reveals the “REASONS” behind it all.

Cautious Clay has had quite the 2018 with the release of his Blood Type album and the sudden radio obsession with “Cold War” and he closes the year out with a new single. “REASONS” was co-written by Hudson Mohawke and Tobias Jesso Jr., with Mohawke and Clay credited as producers. The new single is also off of his forthcoming EP “due early next year.” You can find Cautious Clay on our Tasty! Jams playlists for December.

Cautious Clay Re-Releases “RESONANCE EP” Featuring 2 New Songs

Cautious Clay, one of the most inventive new artists on our radar, just dropped a new EP.

His new RESONANCE EP is, well, it’s fucking awesome. His voice is gorgeous, and his production plays off of it perfectly — holding low at times to enhance his vocals and hitting hard at others to match his own enthusiasm. The EP features previous favorite “French Riviera” and also includes the brand new song “Crowned”. This is Cautious Clay’s 2nd project this year and he’s popping up on a whole lot of other radars besides ours so expect to hear big things from him before the year’s out, including a song with John Mayer. You can find “Crowned” and more jams from Cautious Clay’s RESONANCE EP on our Tasty! Jams playlists for August.

Cautious Clay Gets His Revenge On Incredible New Single "French Riviera"

Cautious Clay Gets Revenge On Incredible New Single “French Riviera”

Cautious Clay gets real on this one.

One of the best new emerging artists on the scene has topped himself once again with this one. Cautious Clay will make you feel something on “French Riviera”, a song, which, seemingly, is intended as a breakup song. He croons right before the chorus: “But I’m glad we met / Here’s a participation medal / Straight from Geppetto with your fake ass.” So, uh, clearly some shit went down. Whatever it was, you can’t get much better revenge than making an absolutely astounding song that also happens to call them a “fake ass”. You can find “French Riviera” from Cautious Clay on our Tasty! Jams playlists for May.
