Slenderbodies Share Debut Album "Komorebi"

Slenderbodies Share Debut Album “Komorebi”

slenderbodies reveal their dreamy debut album komorebi.

I’m always a sucker for groovy tunes, which is why slenderbodies have been on my radar for a few years now. On Friday, the California duo of Max Vehuni and Benji Cormack finally gifted us with their debut album, the 11-track, super vibey komorebi. Finding themselves sounding somewhere in between Glass Animals and Alt-J, the duo went all in on capturing that mesmerizing feeling. According to the press release, the album was “conceptualized in the natural oasis of an isolated cabin” and Max and Benji refer to the album as “a letter or time-capsule to our older selves,” continuing, “The album is a reflection of our personal philosophies and sources of morality at the beginning of our adult lives and our career.” You can stream the album now and you can catch slenderbodies on tour this Fall, full dates listed below.

Previously, slenderbodies shared singles from the album, “arrival,“away from you,” “belong” and “dewdrops.” You can find “belong” on our Tasty! Jams playlists.

May may just be made for new music.

This past month has been mayhem. With more than 70 tracks receiving the Tasty! tag this month that’s more than double what we had in our Tasty! Jams playlists for May last year.

Let slenderbodies “Take You Home” With This Tasty! Jam

After the quick guitar lick in the first two seconds of the song we jump right in to head bobbing territory. With a soothing, almost whisper-like, voice slenderbodies will take you on a chill ride. This is my first time listening to a slenderbodies track but I can assure you it won’t be the last. You can find “Take You Home” from slenderbodies on our Tasty! Jams playlists from August.
